HAWAI, 10 Jun: Seventy-eight persons were imparted training in weaving and bamboo handicrafts during a month-long skill development and capacity building programme on ‘indigenous textiles & bamboo handicrafts’, organised at the Tribal Cultural Hall here in Anjaw district, informed the textile & handicraft assistant director.
Anjaw DC Tab Jerang and the SDO distributed certificates and yarns to the participants during the valedictory function on Friday.
The DC assured the participants that the administration would extend all possible help and support to them in establishing their own business ventures. (DIPRO)
