BRAHMAPUR, 11 Nov: A team of seven technical personnel from Kimin-based DBT-APSCS&T Centre of Excellence for Bioresources and Sustainable Development, along with 19 farmers selected from Papum Pare, Namsai and East Siang districts and prospective entrepreneurs are undergoing a five-day residential training in ‘Cultivation of aroma crops, its processing and marketing’ at the Fragrance and Flavour Development Centre (FFDC) here in Odisha.
Sponsored by the DBT-APSCS&T CoE BRSD and conducted in association with Kannauj (UP)-based FFDC, the training began here on 9 November.
The inaugural programme was attended by Odisha FFDC extension unit scientific officer Dr Rama Rao, retired principal of Brahmapur-based College of Pharmaceutical Science Dr Santosh Kumar Das, scientific officer from FFDC Kamlesh Kumar, and FFDC technical assistant Brahmapur Bibek Anand.
