NAHARLAGUN, 13 Mar: The Gumin Hoin Multipurpose Society [GHMS] of West Siang district was felicitated “for contributing a lot in uplifting the society under the leadership of its chairperson Ropi Kena Bagra,” during the International Women’s Day (IWD) celebration by the BJP Mahila Morcha.
“The NGO, which is an SHG in nature, has been very vocal since its inception for women empowerment through various economic activities for housewives, such as candle-making, pickle production, livestock farming, etc,” the DIPR stated in a release.
