Concerns regarding recent APSSB CHSL results

Editor,

I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards certain issues arising from the recent Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) results conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB).

Firstly, it is observed that the reservation policy for Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribes (APST) candidates has not been properly maintained. As per established norms, a ratio of 8:2 should be maintained for reserved seats; however, the results appear to indicate discrepancies that have left deserving candidates in confusion and distress. This oversight not only undermines the purpose of reservation but also creates an atmosphere of uncertainty among aspirants.

Secondly, there was an undue delay in the release of the official answer key for the CHSL examination. This delay has caused anxiety among candidates and affected the transparency of the entire examination process. It is crucial that timely release of answer keys and the resolution of objections be made a standard practice, ensuring a fair evaluation system.

In light of the increasing unemployment rate in the state, it is imperative that the government and APSSB explore creating more job opportunities through regular examinations like Combined Graduate Level (CGL) and CHSL. Expanding the number of available seats would not only alleviate unemployment but also encourage the youth to stay and contribute to the development of Arunachal Pradesh.

I earnestly request the concerned authorities to take these issues seriously and take appropriate measures to rectify them. This will restore the faith of young aspirants in the state’s recruitment processes and inspire hope for a brighter future.
