HASSE RUSSA, 6 Dec: A team of the Longding KVK, led by its Head (i/c) A Kirankumar Singh, inspected the farmers’ rabi maize fields under the FLD programme in Hasse Russa village on Friday.
During the visit, the team observed that the shortage of moisture in the soil of all the farmers’ fieldsneeded immediate attention, so that growth of the crop does not get affected.
The team visited the fields of farmers Akot Arangham, Ranthak Arangham and Khamtai Wangjen, and suggested to them to take remedial measures for proper growth of the plant.
During the visit of Manpu Wangsu’s mushroom production unit, the team observed minor faults with regard to pouring water for maintaining the moisture level in the mushrooms. The team advised the farmer to monitor the growth of mushrooms regularly and feed water accordingly.
Other members of the team included SMS (plant protection) Dr Deep Narayan Mishra and SMS (horticulture) Vikash.
