BASAR, 17 Jul: The Leparada district election officeconducted a circle-level training programme for all booth-level officers (BLO) of the four circles, viz, Tirbin, Sago, Basar and Dari, under Basar assembly constituency from 8 to 16 July.
Keeping with the schedule, the training was held at the EAC office in Tirbin, the DC’s conference hall in Basar, Sago circle, and the CO office in Dari on 8, 10 and 16 July.
Electoral Registration Officer Dr MN Taloh led the sessions with a detailed orientation on the roles and responsibilities of BLOs. She thoroughly explained the processes involved in handling Form 6 (inclusion of names), Form 7 (deletion), and Form 8 (correction, shifting of residence, issuance of duplicate EPIC, and PwD registration).
Basar Circle BLO Yummar Riram imparted hands-on training on the use of the BLO mobile application with the fellow BLOs to ensure smooth and error-free digital operations.
The training sessions witnessed active participation of all assistant electoral registration officers, BLOs,and election officials. (DIPRO)
