CHANGLANG, 9 Feb: A total of 225 farmers from different parts of Changlang district participated in a training-cum-input distribution programme organised here by the Changlang Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) on Monday.
During the programme, which was conducted under the guidance of KVK Head Dr Devendra Singh Chhonkar, various agricultural inputs were distributed among the farmers, including battery-operated spray machines, open-valve irrigation motors, irrigation pipes, maize seeds, summer vegetable seeds, nano urea, warm bags, and small agricultural tools such as spades.
Gardening tools like hedge cutters and secateurs for pruning were also distributed to the beneficiaries.
The programme aimed at enhancing farm productivity and promoting the adoption of modern and sustainable agricultural practices among farmers of the district.
