ITANAGAR, May 10: The Arunachal Pradesh Ministerial Employees Welfare Association (APMEWA-WCD) has endorsed the one day state-wide pen and tool down strike by the Arunachal Pradesh CDPO Welfare Association (APCDPOWA) for 17 May against the state government’s alleged apathy towards its demands.
The APCDPOWA, after getting no response from higher authorities over its demands, decided to launch a one-day state-wide pen down strike on 17 May.
The demands include immediate release of honorarium to the angawanwadi workers and helpers on monthly basis; release of pending salaries of CDPOs and ministerial staff, etc.
Claiming that the ministerial staff and their families are facing untold miseries due to non-release of their salary fund by the concerned department, the association strongly urged upon the department to immediately address the grievances.
