KAMENGBARI-DOIMARA, May 22: Illegal entry of people from outside the state into the administrative jurisdiction of Kamengbari-Doimara in West Kameng district has been prohibited by the local administration.
The prohibitory order has been issued by the executive magistrate of Kamengbari-Doimara, following reports of illegal collection of forest resources, poaching, mining, and encroachment of land by people from outside the state, especially Assam.
The executive magistrate has instructed the authorities of the forest department, as well as police and security personnel to prevent any attempt by people from outside the state to enter the circle illegally. (DIPRO)
