TAWANG, Aug 3: The two-member inquiry committee constituted by the state government to inquire into the allegation of issuance of false Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificates to three persons in Tawang district conducted its hearing on 2 and 3 August at the deputy commissioner’s office here.
All the parties attended the hearing with supporting documents in respect of their claims.
Chief Secretary Satya Gopal had through an order on 29 June constituted the committee, with Divisional Commissioner (West) Gamli Padu as its chairman and West Kameng Deputy Commissioner Sonal Swaroop as member, to inquire into the allegation of issuance of false ST certificates to three persons – Dr Sonam Tsoma, Dr Sonam Dolma and Dr Pema Dolma.
