KOLKATA, Dec 10: A 15-member team of the Ngul Chulyu group from Lower Subansiri district displayed agriculture produces like oranges, kiwi, ginger, star fruit and homemade pickles, along with handloom and handicraft products, in the two stalls provided to Arunachal Pradesh during the third edition of the Himalayan Orange Tourism Festival organized here in West Bengal by the Association for Conservation & Tourism from 7 to 9 December.
Arunachal’s tourism department also participated in the event, along with teams from the Bengal Himalayas, eastern Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan, Meghalaya, Manipur and Myanmar.
Rural tourism and homestay potential of the state, with emphasis on agriculture tourism – a new concept of Arunachal Tourism – were also highlighted during the event.
