DHEMAJI, Dec 24: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will run two intercity express trains between Naharlagun and Tinsukia (Assam) via the newly built Bogibeel bridge over the Brahmaputra.
While one train will run weekly, the other will run five days in a week, informed NFR.
The inaugural train will run only on 25 December, and regular services will start from 26 December.
While Train No 15908 will leave Naharlagun at 5:30 am every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday to arrive at Tinsukia at 11 am, on the return trip Train No 15907 will leave Tinsukia at 4 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday to arrive at Naharlagun at 9:15 pm.
The trains will have stoppages at Dhemaji, Gogamukh, North Lakhimpur and Harmuti in Assam.
