CHANGLANG, Mar 06: A team of officials from Legal Metrology during announced checkings in Jairampur, Nampong and Manmao circles in Changlang district recently booked six traders for violations of various provisions of Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rule, 2011.
All six traders were found selling packaged commodities without any mandatory declaration of MRP, net weight, date of manufacture and expiry etc which is total violation of the provisions of the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rule, 2011 and Legal Metrology Act, 2009. DIPRO
