West Bengal, Arunachal Governor discuss bilateral issues

ITANAGAR, Mar 11: Governor of West Bengal Keshari Nath Tripathi called on Governor of Arunachal Pradesh BD Mishra here at the Raj Bhavan on Monday and discussed on bilateral issues where Arunachal Pradesh and West Bengal make joint efforts for the benefit of the people of both the states.
Tripathi is on a two-day visit to the state for the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan at the Rajiv Gandhi University in Rono Hills, Doimukh.
Mishra further requested Tripathi to grace a special interaction event at the Raj Bhavan in Kolkata and motivate students from Arunachal Pradesh, who are pursuing various courses in different institutions of West Bengal.
The governor also suggested exploring joint ventures of the two states in tourism, particularly in religious tourism, and horticulture, organic farming, skill development and exchange programmes from students, teachers and professionals. (PRO to Raj Bhavan)
