Dear Editor,
This is in response to advertisement made for various posts of sheristadar, clerk, peon by the District and session court , yupia vide order no.DSC(WD)-89/2016(voll-III)19 dated 24th may 2019 that was published on 28th may 2019 in Arunachal Times.
According to advertisement maximum age limit for the APST is 33 years. But Government of Arunachal Pradesh has increased upper age limit to 37 years for APST. Then upper age limit for the various posts under Itanagar bench of Gwuahti High court should be 38 years. 37 years is the upper age limit for S/T candidates in UPSC exam.
Upper age limit prescribed in said advertisement does not fall under central or state government norms.
People should understand that nobody graduates at the age of 18 years. So keeping minimum age as 18 is meaningless. Hence, lower age and upper age limit for non-armed forced jobs should be increased.
Those who are in good position, the issue of upper age limit may be minor one. But hundreds of poor candidates who have been struggling for many years for govt will get one last chance for better future.
I appeal to District and session judge, Yupia to do justice to poor unemployed youths of state by rectifying the upper age limit as per state government norms.
Sincerely,
An aspirant
