ITANAGAR, Jun 22: Over 400 NCC cadets participated in a ‘road safety and traffic awareness campaign’ at Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic College here on Saturday.
Organised under the guidance of Road Safety & Traffic SP Irak Bagra, the programme was conducted by a team of the PHQ’s road safety cell, comprising SI AU Ansari, head constable NT Tacho and constable Md Sarfuddin, who enumerated safety tips on how to cross roads, boarding and travelling in vehicles, understanding road signs, etc.
The team also made a PowerPoint presentation on the road accident statistics of Arunachal Pradesh, and later provided hands-on signal demonstration and distributed booklets on traffic safety and awareness.
