AALO, Aug 22: The inter-club badminton tournament being organized by the West Siang District Badminton Association (DBA) got underway at the 2nd AAPBn badminton club here on Wednesday.
Fifty players from five registered clubs of the district are in the fray in five different events.
The clubs participating in the tournament are the 2nd AAPBn Badminton Club, the DBA, the badminton club of the DP Government College in Kamki, the 7 DL Brothers Badminton Club, and the Aalo Dominator Badminton Club, DBA joint secretary Lee Sora informed.
The categories are mixed doubles (open), men’s doubles, men’s singles, men’s doubles-2 (open), and men’s doubles-3 (open).
The winners will be awarded trophies along with cash prizes, and the participants will be given certificates.
The tournament will conclude on 25 August. (DIPRO)
