CHIMPU, Aug 24: Siang United Veteran FC retained the Itanagar Solung Veteran Football Tournament trophy with a thumping 7-1 win over Naharlagun Veteran FC in the final at the AAPBn playground here on Saturday.
Olom Darin scored a hat-trick of goals while Tatem Taloh, Oni Apum, Onang Tamuk and Anong Apang scored a goal each to outwit their opponent.
The consolation goal for Naharalgun Veteran FC was scored by Tayon Darang.
The final of the open category will be played on 25 August.
