RONO HILLS, Sep 27: A two-day national workshop on ‘Life skills management’, organised by the psychology department of Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), concluded here on Friday.
Earlier, during the inaugural function, RGU Vice Chancellor Saket Kushwaha highlighted the importance of inculcating right values and life skills, and advocated having an open mind towards learning.
RGU Registrar Prof Tomo Riba in his address said, “It is our perspective which matters to lead a happy and satisfying life,” adding that “living life is an art.”
Various topics related to life skills management, techniques of coping with stress, decision-making skills, self-awareness and understanding of emotions, etc, were discussed during the technical sessions conducted by Gauhati University Associate Professor Dr Rita Rani Talukdar, Guwahati IIT student counsellor Dr Nesmita Das, Leeyir Ete, and Pampak Khumukcham.
Among others, RGU Education Dean Prof Rachob Taba, faculty members of several departments, and students attended the workshop.
