AALO, Nov 13: The West Siang district task force on immunization reviewed the progress of immunization in the district under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan here on Wednesday.
Speaking to the District Family Welfare Officer (DFWO) and doctors of West Siang and Shi-Yomi districts, the DC exhorted all doctors and paramedical officers to work in a coordinated manner with line departments to complete the immunization programme as per routine and timeline set by the government.
“Effort should be made to give due coverage of immunization in the far flung pockets where such facility is missed out due certain bottlenecks,” the DC said.
Medical Superintendent Dr Linya Lollen also outlined the importance of the programme and urged the medical officers to make the implementation of the flagship programme successful.
The DFWO Dr Tomar Kamki stressed on portal report on achievements and targets, micro plan, regular validation of data on Intensified Mission Indradhanush and RI through PowerPoint presentation.
Medical officers from different primary health centres and community health centres also spelt out their achievements and problems faced by them in its implementation. (DIPRO)
