ITANAGAR, Nov 25: Arunachal Pradesh Food Commission Chairman L Wangchuk and members R Chege and N Jamoh inspected the government primary school in Chandranagar here on Monday, and enquired about the implementation of the midday meal (MDM) scheme in the school.
The headmaster (in-charge) told the team that the school is providing MDM to the students, but lamented the condition of the roads leading to the school, which the headmaster said “makes the school difficult to function during the monsoon season.”
Earlier, the team, along with Capital CDPO N Umbrey, other CDPOs, and supervisors of the women & child development department, inspected the anganwadi centres in Chandranagar I, II and III and Chimpu I.
