AALO,Dec 11: Members of the steering committee for YomgoRiver Festival-2020 led by its chairman DFO Abhinav Kumar and including Superintendent of Police JummarBasar, DTO and representatives from Kabu village on Wednesday, inspected the festival site at Ranaghat.
The committee members have decided to shift the venue from the right bank of Yomgo River at PuakGumin by crossing the river through log-bamboo bridge with the aim to minimise the cost of bridge construction as well as to avoid the dangerof thousands of people using the bridge at a goduring night time.
