ITANAGAR, Dec 11: The third executive body meeting of the ‘Arunachal NGO & Entrepreneurship Forum (ANGOEF)’ was held here on Wednesday under the chairperson of Taba Yall Nabam. Several important issues were discussed at length during the meeting.
Under the banner of ANGOEF, the members decided to set up outlet here in which the local artisans can deposit and also display their products. “The idea behind setting up of outlet is to preserve the indigenous products of our state. The customers can purchase the item at much cheaper rate than the factory rate,” the ANGOEF informed in a release.
Further ANGOEF also decided to conduct state level exhibition every year to showcase the indigenous products as an encouragement to the local artisans and also for generation of the self employment.
