ITANAGAR, Jan 28: UD Secretary Sonal Swaroop on Tuesday inspected various projects in the capital complex which are on the verge of completion.
Swaroop inspected the MLA apartment, the flats for senior government officers, and the rental house in Chimpu, and directed the construction agencies to complete the projects within the stipulated time.
She expressed hope that the accommodation problems of all the elected representatives would be solved after the completion of the MLA apartment.
Chief Engineer Taring Darang and other officers accompanied Swaroop during the inspection.
Later, during an interactive meeting with the heads of the UD & housing and town planning departments, and the housing director, Swaroop urged the officers to be available all times, so that works are not hampered. She assured them of her full cooperation, as and when required.
The department’s officials apprised her of the activities and issues of the department.
