ITANAGAR, Sep 9: Various resolutions were adopted during the executive body meeting of the city BJP unit at the Siddhartha Hall on Saturday.
Addressing party functionaries Parliamentary Secretary for UD, TP, PWD, Techi Kaso said that the assignments given by the party high command or senior members need to be taken up with sincerity.
“Many central sponsored schemes launched by the central government need to be taken to the grassroots in the greater interest of the general masses”, he said.
Kaso also stressed on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the twin capital.
City President Tarh Soping urged new members to get primary member and active membership of the party and contribute in the Aajiwan Sahyog Nidhi Fund, the party’s fund-raising scheme.
IMC Deputy Chief Councillor, Tarh Nachung, who is also General Secretary of the Arunachal Chamber of Commerce & Industry, raised the issue of registration under GST, which he said, needed to be resolved and forwarded to the government for consideration.
