Association urges Governor to remove Finance Commissioner

ITANAGAR, Sep 4: Claiming that incumbent Commissioner, Power and Finance and Investment, Ashish Kundra was allegedly involved in irregularities during his tenure in Daman under Union Terrritory administration, the All Arunachal Pradesh Un-Employed Youth Association (AAPUYA) appealed to the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh to remove him from his current post.
Armed with a report purportedly published in the Union Territory Independent recently where Kundra was allegedly incriminated for his involvement in the alleged scam, the association in its representation to the Governor stated that if such key posts in a state are given to corrupt officers who are allegedly under the CBI’s scanner, the state will be ruined.
Meanwhile, when contacted by this daily, Commissioner Ashish Kundra denied the allegation and termed it false and malicious.
“It is completely false and malicious”, Kundra said, adding that he has no idea who is behind the malicious campaign to tarnish his image.
