BOMDILA, Sep 9: Rural Development Special Secretary, Nyali Ete dealt on the convergence module of Rurban and preparation of Integrated Cluster Action Plan (ICAP) under Nafra Rurban Cluster during a convergence meeting under Shayama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Mission, Nafra Rurban cluster, under West Kameng district at Bomdila on Friday.
The Special Secretary impressed upon NRUM’s vision of developing a cluster of villages that preserve and nurture the essence of rural community life, with focus on equity and inclusiveness without compromising with the facilities perceived to be essentially urban in nature, thus creating a cluster of urban villages.
He appealed to the HoDs to whole-heartedly cooperate in completing the process of ICAP preparation in the Nafra Rurban cluster, which is an EAC administrative unit in the district.
Joint Director (Tech) M Ronya highlighted on the technical problems and the means to fill up the critical gap of DPR of Line departments by Rurban mission.
He said that the basic aim of the Rurban is ‘Gaon ki Atma, Shahron ki Suvidha’.
DRDA PD Tasso Gambo called upon the line departments to put concerted effort and help in making Nafra Rurban Cluster a reality.
The state level team also interacted with the DC in-charge and HoDs, and discussed at length the road map adopted for the Rurban cluster. (DIPRO)
