Mein rubbishes allegation of fund mismanagement

NAMSAI, Sep 15: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein has rubbished the allegation of fund mismanagement under composite sanction system levelled by Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee(APCC) as unfounded. He called upon the people not to believe in such unfounded statements.
Addressing a Sankalp Se Siddhi programme cum the District party executive meeting held at Namsai Town Club on Friday, the DyCM said that said the state government has taken enough measures for proper financial management with transparency, accountability and above all to root out corruption.
He also stressed on the need for taking up innovative schemes and increase use of technology.
Terming the BJP as a party with a difference, he said the changes are taking place for development. “The way party men were putting in their efforts it is possible for a Congress Mukt North East after the next elections,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, State BJP president Tapir Gao said that Namsai district could become a model district provided it maintains discipline both in the process of development and political approach.
He called upon the party workers to strengthen the booth level committees.
Regarding Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy, Gao said TRP was just a routine review programme.
Citing recent decision of Central Govt for granting of citizenship to the Chakma and Hajong refugees, he further said the BJP led government is just complying with the judgment and directives of the Supreme Court.
Earlier Namsai MLA, Chow Zingnu Namchoom moved the political resolution while Chow Arina Manpoong, State Executive Member moved the economic resolution. All the three Mandal presidents of Chongkham-Wakro,Namsai and Lekang submitted their respective reports to the state president.
