ZIRO, Sep 18: A meeting on implementation of the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) 2017-18 was held in the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Lower Subansiri district to encourage candidates, banks concerned and implementing agency to complete all the process for sanction and disbursement within the stipulated date of September 30 next.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Kimo Lollen urged the candidates to utilize the sanctioned money against the scheme for their self employment as well as to generate more employment opportunities through their venture.
He also asserted that after disbursement of the first instalment, he, along with bank and implementing agency (DIC) will inspect and monitor the utilization of the disbursed amount.
The second instalment will not be disbursed by the concerned bank if the first instalment is not utilized, and the candidate would have to return the first instalment amount to the bank without fail, the DC cautioned.
The DC urged the candidate to complete the documentation within September 19 without fail for further sanction and disbursement of loan by concerned bank.
