ITANAGAR, Oct 5: The Jote Panchayat Youth Welfare Association (JPYWA) has in a release on Thursday appealed to the authorities to complete the tender process against the road connecting Jote Panchayat to the capital city.
‘Despite being nearest to the capital, the road connecting Jote Panchayat to the capital city is in a poor condition. The GoAP sanctioned Rs 12 crores for the road project but still the department could not clear its tender process for the last six months’, it claimed.
The Association further stated that a meeting was also conducted under the chairmanship of its General Secretary, Teli Teni at Eco-Tourism Resort, Jote on Sunday last, wherein it was decided to ban hunting, fishing and picnic within the jurisdiction of Jote Panchayat. It was further informed that legal action will be taken against those who do not adhere to the decision.
