DAPORIJO, Oct 5: The first district level chess tournament of Upper Subansiri, christened the Rijor Mara Memorial District Level Chess Tournament-2017 got underway at a city hotel in Daporijo on Thursday.
Organised by the Upper Subansiri District Chess Association, the tournament was inaugurated by Rudhum Sindhu and will end on Monday.
