ITANAGAR, Oct 10: Filmmaker Bomli Riba has been honoured by the Czech Tourism Authority with special mention in category for ‘Non-professional short film’ or “vlog” for his movie, Little Monk in Tawang at the 50th Tour Film Festival Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic.
The honour was conferred by Monika Palatkova, Managing Director of Czech Tourism at Orpheum Hall, Grand Hotel Ambassador.
Bomli is son of former police officer, late Kebom Riba and Mipu Riba from Dali, West Siang district.
The Tour Film Festival is the world’s oldest international film festival on tourism issues and has been held since 1967.
Riba is currently working as a Content Producer and video editor at an Australian-based company in Bangalore.
