ITANAGAR, Oct 13: A talent hunt for Powerlifters for the state level Powerlifting Championship for both men and women is being organized by Arunachal Power Lifting Association at RG Stadium, Naharlagun on October 21.
Sportspersons (both men and women) of age 15 years and older, especially in weightlifting and bodybuilding can participate in the trial to be conducted for Back Squat, Dead lift and Bench Press.
Interested sports-persons are advised to submit their all necessary details along with age proof document at the office of Arunachal Weightlifting Association, Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Naharlagun on or before October 21.
The main objective of the trial is to produce powerlifters for the ensuing National Powerlifting Championship.
