ITANAGAR, Oct 25: In a representation to the state Chief Secretary, the Pakke Tiger Reserve Casual Workers Welfare Association (PTRCWWA) on Wednesday, sought early conduct of interview for appointment and regularization of Special Tiger Protection Force (STPF) as notified by the Government of India.
The Association has claimed that the state government has been for long delaying the process of advertising the post and conducting interview for regularization of the STPF, who are performing their duties on casual basis since the last five years.
‘We are working with full dedication to protect and preserve the endangered tigers on a meagre salary with the hope that our services will be regularized, but the state government is yet to address our genuine grievances’, it said.
