ITANAGAR, Oct 26: Yukar Tache who had recently won two bronze medals in the 34th Sub-Junior and 44th Junior National Aquatic Championship held at Pune, Maharashtra during June 28-30 last, was felicitated by the Arunachal Amateur Aquatic Association (AAAA) in presence of sports officials here on Wednesday last.
Son of Yukar Taniang, Tache is the first diver from the state to win medals in national junior and sub-junior levels in one meter spring board and high board diving events.
AAAA President Kipa Babu and General Secretary, Yukar Sibi also congratulated Tache for his success and assured all possible support on their part.
