SEPPA, Oct 26: The East Kameng district administration has decided to organize a ‘run for unity’ to mark the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the district on October 31.
Addressing a meeting of all heads of offices on Thursday, East Kameng Deputy Commissioner, Rajeev Takuk opined to incorporate those activities which are enthralling and simultaneously promote cultural identification and unity among the people of the district in particular and the state in general.
Government officers who participated in the meeting also suggested various measures for success of the programme.
Later in the day, the DC enquired about the availability of requisite infrastructure for successful conduct of ensuing APPSCC Examination(Prelims) . He directed the ADC Seppa to assess the requirements and draw up an action plan in advance. (DIPRO)
