Maintain financial discipline, Apex Bank MD tells BMs

ITANAGAR, Oct 28: Apex Bank Managing Director T Thongdok asked the Branch Managers (BMs) to maintain good financial discipline and adopt banking technologies as introduced in the bank for the convenience of the customers.
Highlighting the performance of the bank during a review meeting cum training for the bankers, the MD informed that the Apex Bank has recorded a total deposit of Rs 214 crore as on March 31, 2017.
Re-affirming the bank’s commitment to work towards customers’ satisfaction, he emphasized on building capacity of the bank staff through regular training to provide best services to the customers.
During the two-day session, half-yearly performances of the bank branches were reviewed and target fixed for each branch which would be reviewed in the next three months.
Administrative official Habung Lampung asked the officials of the bank to earn customers’ confidence and create customer friendly atmosphere in the bank to compete with the best banks in the country.
He informed that the Apex Bank will soon open its own ATM booths in every branch and the first such booth will be opened by November, 2017.
The two-day meeting cum training programme conducted from October 27 at ATI, Naharlagun was attended by 37 branch managers, MD, GMs, DGMs, AGMs and other officials of the bank.
