Rescheduling of APPSC exam

(I)
Dear Editor,
It is to bring to your kind notice that the schedule for the APPSC-Preliminary exam was announced this month and the date is scheduled to be 26th November, 2017.
This is high time for the university examinations across the nation and hence it will be difficult for those Arunachal Pradesh students who study in universities outside state to appear in the Preliminary exam, and this will defeat the very purpose of inclusive participation of all Arunachal Pradesh students.
The number of these outstation students is very high.
Hence, we hereby request you to kindly reschedule the examination in January 2018 so that there could be maximum participation of students and we can get a better chance to serve our state in a better way.
Yours,
Bisari Mikhu,
Delhi University

Dear Editor,
Through this daily, I would like to convey my grievances to the state govt for ignoring the interest of our own people. It has been a long time since we are waiting for the free and fair state civil service exam. Now when the announcement is made for the proposed date, it is really disheartening to see that the state civil service commission has not made any consideration while deciding that date for exam.
The students are to face NET exams on Nov 5th, semester exams on 1st week of Dec and IBPS exam on same time period. We students are not super human who can mug up everything by just scrolling down the page.
The central based exams are for national interest and set according to it, likewise the state based exams should be based on states’ interest.
The apex committee seems to have forgotten to see the problems of the students as the exams are also supposed to be written from our own respective district.
Therefore, my humble request is to reconsider the schedule for exams and that all the aspiring students should get the opportunity.
Yours,
Stu
