LT line extension inaugurated at Rusa village

KANUBARI, Nov 2: Extension of LT line at Rusa village of Kanubari Sub Division in Longding district was inaugurated by APSCIT & e-Governance Chairman and Kanubari MLA Gabriel Denwang Wangsu on Wednesday last, amidst the presence of HoDS, PRI members, chiefs, GBs and public.
The project extension of LT line at various villages of Kanubari Circle under DoTCL during 2015-16 for electrification of Rusa village and augmentation of 25 KVA, 11/0.433 KV DT to 63 KVA, 11/0.433 KV DT at Rusa village was completed this year.
Addressing the villagers on the occasion, Wangsu said that once the sub division is connected by 33 KV power line, the electricity supply would not only improve but also would help in establishing small scale industries in the area.
Appreciating the team of officers of Kanubari Power Department for timely completion of the project, he sought cooperation and support from the officers and officials in his endeavour to work towards betterment of the society.
Wangsu, while responding to a memorandum submitted by the villagers, announced to construct a community hall and a pathway in the village. He further urged upon the villagers to prioritize their requirements through collective decision and consensus.
Rusa, one of the oldest villages in Kanubari sub division and includes villages of Ranglua Rusa, Linglam Rusa, Tanglam Rusa, Teru Rusa, Kamkuh Rusa and Hahshe Rusa. Since majority of the villagers had settled down all along the Longding-Bimlapur road, the power supply had to be extended accordingly under DoTCL along the road side.
Earlier, the MLA, accompanied by the officers inspected the Longding-Bimlapur road, one of the oldest inter-state roads. (DIPRO)
