RGU Fest ends

Rono Hills, Nov 9: A three day long UNI-FEST came to an end with a valedictory programme at Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills on Nov 9.
Vice Chancellor, RGU Prof. Tamo Mibang in his key note address stressed on the importance of physical education. He also asserted that many youths of Arunachal Pradesh is in the University which should be the centre of learning of the state.
Meanwhile, Vice President (admin) Meje Taku stated the prospect of Varsity students in shaping the future of the state. He enticed the students not to be disheartened by defeats but encouraged them to rise and continue striving for success.
The four houses – Dorjee Khandu, Tadar Tang, Talom Rukbo and Daying Ering competed with heart and soul showcasing true sportsmanship in every field. The competition witnessed many nail biting encounters. But in the end, Dorjee Khandu house emerged as the Champion House for the XVIII UNI-FEST 2017. Earlier, Tate Tayam of Tadar Tang House and Machundu Pulu of Daying Ering House were adjudged Mr. and Ms. UNI-FEST respectively.
