ITANAGAR, Nov 10: Arunachal Pradesh Panchayat Raj Coordination Committee (APPRCC) criticized the frequent transfer and posting of the Director of Panchayati Raj, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
It stated that such transfer not only hampers the official works of the Department and its subordinate officers in dealing with official tasks but also affects developmental activities at grassroots level.
“The Department of Panchayati Raj is the only department in the State, which directly deals with the people at the grassroots level in all developmental activities,” APPRCC Secretary General Sangha Tagik said in a release.
