ITANAGAR, Nov 11: One person died while six were injured in a road mishap that occurred around 9PM near Pahalwan mod between Itanagar and Naharlagun national highway when a vehicle belonging to Tourism department fell into the deep gorge.
According to police sources, seven Indian railway officials were coming back from a picnic when the vehicle fell into the gorge this evening.
Out of six injured, three were immediately shifted to Heema Hospital while three more were yet to be retrieved.
The rescue operation involving NDRF and Capital Police is on.
