Wangsu assures to make Longding-Bimlapur road worthy for traffic

KANUBARI, Nov 13: Kanubari MLA, Gabriel Denwang Wangsu has assured that the Longding-Bimlapur road would be made worthy for traffic movement throughout the year to address the communication problem.
He was addressing people at Rusa village under Kanubari constituency on the occasion of silver jubilee celebration of the St. Thomas Church here on Sunday last.
Wangsu further urged upon the people not to anticipate compensation against any road construction project and informed that innovative ideas and technology are being adopted to combat severe water scarcity in the region.
Wangsu, who is also the Chairman APSCIT & e-Governance further lauded the people of Rusa village for maintaining religious harmony and unity among Christian denominations and said the village has shown the perfect way forward for all tribal villages to emulate for self reliance and sustainable economic development. However, he called upon the people to shun all evils and continue to uphold Christian disciplines and be worthy citizens of the nation.
Bishop of Miao, East Arunachal, Rt. Rev. Dr. P.K George on the occasion exhorted the people to lead a good and simple life without resorting to extravagance.
Earlier, the MLA also released a souvenir on the occasion. (DIPRO)
