ITANAGAR, Nov 14: Constituency development tours of MLAs Jambey Tashi and Tsering Tashi concluded on Tuesday with the MLAs addressing the villagers at Gispu and Sherbang of Lumla Circle and Soma of Kitpi Circle respectively.
While the tour of the Lumla MLA commenced on November 1 from Pamaghar, Kudung and Sakpret , the Tawang MLA first visited Shyovillage on November 5.
During the entire tour period, both the MLAs covered various villages under their constituency and interacted with the villagers, with the main objective of taking stock of the development activities at the grassroots and also to reach out to those who had been oblivious of the various development initiatives taken by the government.
During the meetings convened, the MLAs gave patient hearings to the grievances put forth by the villagers and assured to address those at the earliest. Both MLAs created awareness regarding the various govt sponsored schemes rolled out keeping in mind the growth of entrepreneurship amongst the unemployed youths, towards strengthening sectors like farming, weaving, etc.
Further, emphasising on harmonious relations as prerequisite for economic as well as social development , the MLAs requested everyone to tread along the path of peace. (DIPRO)
