DAPORIJO, Nov 29: Upper Subansiri Deputy Commissioner, Danish Ashraf has reviewed the schemes of five years prospective plans under the Fourteenth Finance Commission (FFC) grants in a meeting on Wednesday.
Focusing on livelihood generation through the schemes, the DC examined all the proposals and made necessary amendments as per the set guidelines of ‘My Village, My Development’ plan.
Addressing all the member secretaries, CCAs, PTAs and the DPDO of the district in the meeting, the DC said that considering the limitation of FFC grant, convergence of various projects should be taken into consideration.
He also directed the member secretaries to strictly monitor the implementation of schemes and ensure non-duplicity of project in their respective jurisdiction.
The best Gram Panchayat would be awarded suitably after assessing all the projects during the ensuing Republic Day celebration. (DIPRO)
