HAWAI, Dec 26: Remote Anjaw district has been declared a 100% open defecation-free district on 21 December.
In a press release issued on the occasion of Good Governance Day on 25 December, Deputy Commissioner Mamata Riba congratulated the people of the district and all other stakeholders for achieving cent percent open defecation-free status ahead of the scheduled target.
Riba thanked local MLA Dasanglu Pul for her support, and the PHED engineers for their hard work in making the district open defecation-free. (DIPRO)
