ITANAGAR, Jan 15: The Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission (APIC) has imposed a penalty of Rs 25,000 against Kurung Kumey District Land Revenue & Settlement Officer, Takam Kechak, for furnishing incomplete information under the RTI Act to appellant Bengia Anthony in APIC Case No 187/2017.
The Commission has also directed the officer, who is also the department’s PIO, to appear in person before the Commission during the scheduled hearing on 30 January, along with all the information sought.
