YINGKIONG, Jan 29: Ten self-help groups of Upper Siang district showcased and sold their products during a mela organized by the District ICDS Cell in collaboration with the Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission on the occasion of the 69th Republic Day celebration here.
The mela was organized under the women and child development ministry’s Microfinance Vision to encourage rural women to become financially independent.
The exhibition stall put up by the SHGs won the first prize in the Republic Day exhibition competition. (DIPRO)
