ITANAGAR, Jan 31: The 7th T-20 Christmas Trophy, 2018 organized by Ganga Youth Club began at Ganga general ground near here on Wednesday.
Public Liaison Officer to Chief Minister Techi Nera, who attended the opening ceremony, spoke about the importance of games and sports in life. He advised the young cricketers to practice hard to sharpen their talents so that they could represent the state and country in the future.
The opening match was played between Capital Cricket Club and Gorkha Eleven. The match was won by Gorkha Eleven by two wickets.
Capital Cricket Club had won the toss and decided to bat first. They posted a target of 173 run losing all the wickets before Gorkha Eleven.
