HAWAI, Jan 31: A two-day workshop on the use of ‘Traditional Indigenous Medicines of Arunachal Pradesh’ began at the urban community hall here in Anjaw district on 31 January.
The workshop is being organized by the Anjaw District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) with support of the Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti (GSDS), New Delhi.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mamata Riba lauded the GSDS for extending its support in organizing the workshop in the remote border district of the state.
A large number of government employees and general public are attending the workshop, where Dr S Bardhan from CHC Hawai and Dr M J Kalita from the district hospital are conducting the workshop as resource persons. (DIPRO)
